Theme days on the Convention on the Rights of the Child

The children were enthusiastic and hardworking

Successful theme days on the Convention on the Rights of the Child

In September, the school held theme days focused on the Convention on the Rights of the Child as part of our implementation of UNICEF's Rights Respecting School program. The goal was to bring the Convention on the Rights of the Child to life for students and deepen their understanding of children's rights worldwide.  The regular schedule was set aside for two school days. To build teamwork and foster connections among students, the school divided them into mixed-age groups. These groups collaborated on various creative projects, each tied to the Convention's articles.

The theme days exceeded everyone's expectations. The groups collaborated beautifully. Older students guided the younger ones, and the activities were marked by genuine interest and joy. The days produced an impressive array of projects. They are now on display in the school's hallways for everyone to enjoy and learn from.
