Shortened student day and Utís conference on Sept. 18
Utís Online, one of the country's largest education events, kicks off on Friday, Sept. 18. The two-day online conference features about 20 lectures on school development and more than 10 presentations in a segment titled "A journey through the Icelandic school system."
Roughly 20 teachers, administrators, and staff from Grandaskóli have registered for the event, which begins at 1 p.m. on Friday.
Please note that Friday is a shortened student day on the school calendar, with classes ending at 12:30 p.m.
Students in grades 5–7 will head home when classes end. Students in grades 1 and 2 will go to Undraland after their 1 p.m. recess, while registered students in grades 3 and 4 will head to Frostheimar.
