Epic results 2026

The Epic Reading Challenge ran in primary schools across Iceland from Sept. 15 to Oct. 6, and the results are now in. Grandaskóli took part in the challenge for the first time, and its students did exceptionally well, reading for a total of 310,791 minutes over the three weeks — an impressive achievement. That puts Grandaskóli in ninth place in this year's challenge, with 920 minutes of reading per student.

Congratulations on your achievement, Grandaskóli!
