Grandaskóli students enjoyed a special visit Monday as part of the school's participation in the Epic Reading Challenge.
The Epic Reading Challenge is a nationwide initiative designed to foster a love of reading among children in grades 1–7. Participating schools track their students' reading time and submit the totals at the end of the competition. The school that records the most reading time wins a substantial book prize.
Authors Blær Guðmundsdóttir and Eva Rúr Þorgerisdóttir visited the school as part of the Epic Reading Challenge, speaking with students about the book-making process.
